A Christian Easter Greeting From Texas Governor

Common Sense Commentary: Our Texas Governor, Greg Abbott may be unusual, as he is physically handicapped and in a wheelchair, but he is even more unusual as a spiritually mature Christian giant in a nation of mostly nonspiritual, political midgets in our national and state Capitols. May God bless and sustain Brother Greg Abbott as he leads Texas and serves our God at the same time. He is proving it can be done and sets the example for 49 other State Governors, our President, Congress, the Supreme Court and all other political leaders. Here is his Easter Greeting from the Texas State Capitol in Austin. RB

"He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you
when he was yet in Galilee, saying that the Son of man must
be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified,
and the third day rise again." Luke 24:6-7

Today we remember His sacrifice and celebrate His resurrection
so we may have eternal life.

I hope you are able to spend this Easter Sunday surrounded by
your loved ones, and that you experience the gratitude of new
life that springs eternal through faith in Christ.

First Lady Cecilia Abbott and I wish you a joyous and blessed
Easter Sunday.
