But, Where Did THAT Come From?

No matter how far back you go, in your mind, even if it be to a universe without form and void of anything but darkness, and no eve to see, you still have to ask yourself ... "Where did that come from". And if you reason that such a universe of darkness requires no Creator.... it does, but that is not the universe we must justify. What we have is an infinitely expansive universe chock full of stars, suns, moons, light and a trillion trillion visible and invisible mysteries ... All of which require a power of intellect far removed from any human ability to comprehend it. But narrow the universe down to a single flower, lady bug or honey bee and reason that with me. Just one such tiny thing demands with force and finality ... CREATOR GOD!!  Not to recognize the absolute, inescapable fact of a Creator intelligence, power and presence, even larger than the universe itself, is so blindly futile that it is more than a mental problem. It is a spiritual delusion. Jesus said in John 8:44 that the devil is a liar and the father of it. The theory of evolution is the religion of Satan which he preaches to its blind worshipers in most universities.

I read a headline today that said, some scientists are saying they can prove the existence of God. That is an interesting concept.... scientists proving God. Their honesty is commendable and their deductions may be correct, but as for me, I need no more proof than I already have ... Creation itself, the Bible record, my own experience and the change I see in believers' lives. But if I had no proof but the heavens, that would be sufficient. "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge." Psm.19:1

Besides the obvious fact of Creation, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things NOT seen..." Heb.11:1. RB

Scientists use mathematical calculations to Prove the existence of God

SCIENTISTS have ‘confirmed’ the existence of God after proving a mathematician’s theory which suggests that there is a higher power.

Two computer scientists say they proved that there is a holy supreme force after confirming the equations.
In 1978, mathematician Kurt Gödel died and left behind a long and complex theory based on modal logic.
Dr Gödel’s model uses mathematical equations that are extremely complicated, but the essence is that no greater power than God can be conceived, and if he or she is believed as a concept then he or she can exist in reality.
Or as Dr Gödel put it through his equations: “Ax. 1. {P(φ)∧◻∀x[φ(x)→ψ(x)]} →P(ψ)Ax. 2.P(¬φ)↔¬P(φ)Th. 1.P(φ)→◊∃x[φ(x)]Df. 1.G(x)⟺∀φ[P(φ)→φ(x)]Ax. 3.P(G)Th. 2.◊∃xG(x)Df. 2.φ ess x⟺φ(x)∧∀ψ{ψ(x)→◻∀y[φ(y)→ψ(y)]}Ax. 4.P(φ)→◻P(φ)Th. 3.G(x)→G ess xDf. 3.E(x)⟺∀φ[φ ess x→◻∃yφ(y)]Ax. 5.P(E)Th. 4.◻∃xG(x)”.
You get it, right?
But two computer scientists have used computers to run such complicated which they say confirms that the equation does indeed add up.
The point of the researchers’ argument was that they were not directly trying to prove the existence of God, but rather to showcase the power of computers.
Christoph Benzmüller of Berlin's Free University, who ran the calculations along with Bruno Woltzenlogel Paleo of the Technical University in Vienna, told Spiegel Online: "It's totally amazing that from this argument led by Gödel, all this stuff can be proven automatically in a few seconds or even less on a standard notebook.
“I didn’t know it would create such a huge public interest but [Gödel’s ontological proof] was definitely a better example than something inaccessible in mathematics or artificial intelligence…
“It’s a very small, crisp thing, because we are just dealing with six axioms in a little theorem.
“There might be other things that use similar logic.”

My Comment:
Jesus said, in John 1:9 that he is the true light "which lighteth every man (human) that cometh into the world". And then he said, "Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness." Luke 11:35. That is willful darkness. RB

Dutiful Surpasses Beautiful By A Lifetime

Our calling is to become Christlike, not attractive

"...The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7.

As a young pastor, many an old saint prayed for me and adjusted my thinking and actions by their own. One of those was an elderly lady of wisdom, Mrs. Weary. She said to me, in answer to a question, one Sunday, "I dreamed and thought that life was beauty, but awoke to find that it was duty".  Mrs Weary had been a beautiful young lady, but when she began to date young men, she soon discovered that her beauty could be a detriment rather than a blessing. Time, experience and commitment to Christ molded her into one of the most dependable and faithful members of that church. I admire her still.

A couple I once knew were at the beach and a beautiful young college age girl walked past them, My friend's wife said regretfully, "I never will look like that again", to which he said, "Neither will she".

So, you dear young ladies and handsome young men,  don't spend too much time looking into the mirror or adorning yourselves like a Christmas tree. There is a reason God gave the Prophet Isaiah this prophetic and rare description of our Savior's human appearance ...."For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." Isa.53:2 Even Jesus appeared as a common man, in a form not beautiful, so that people would not be distracted from His pure holiness and message of salvation, and not be drawn to him by his beauty.

Another dear old, direct and honest member of the first of two churches I ever pastored, was the pragmatic, and plain spoken Rita Jackson. My beautician mother who was a rare beauty, always well groomed and impressively dressed, visited our church for the first time. Mother was Miss congeniality and literally everyone was drawn to her. I asked her to stand for my introduction and the congregation gave her a resounding applause. After church, as Rita Jackson shook my hand, she said, "Pastor, now I know where you got your vanity."
The truth sometimes hurts, but it is always beneficial and will set us free.

The emphasis here is, as the Apostle Paul cautioned the Colossian Christians...
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affectionon
on things above, not on things on the earth." Col.3:1-2

One last example which marked my judgment of people for the rest of my life was an old Deacon of that first church, called Dad Brown. Deacon Brown was about as unhandsome as a man can get. He was shriveled up in old age, came to church in the same suit every Sunday, had missing teeth and a large hooked nose. He also had one child, a retarded 40 year old son. Dad never said a negative word about anyone. He was as humble as anyone I have ever known. He was truly a root out of a dry ground: he had no form nor comeliness; and when we saw him, there was no beauty that we should desire him....but he was a true saint of God, a disciple of Christ and an ambassador of Heaven. Dad Brown was a blessing to this young, inexperienced pastor and stood by me, even when my inexperience showed most plainly. I think of him still.

Physical beauty proves nothing about a person's quality or worth or kindness or love of integrity or honesty or faithfulness. It has absolutely nothing to do with spirituality. If anything, it is a distraction. Hollywood is filled with "beautiful people", but it is probably the single most self righteous, vain, drug addicted and beauty obsessed nest of inconsistency in America.  "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence." 1 Cor.1:27-29.

The World Isn't Falling Apart, Prophecies Are Falling Into Place

These prophecies speak for themselves. They are coming to pass before our eyes. The News today is almost as a Biblical scroll verifying scriptural prophecies one after the other. The prophetic gateway into Last Days Prophecy was the 1948 restoration of the nation of Israel and regathering of Jews, from all the nations they had been dispersed into, to re-inhabit that land. I visited the new nation shortly after its restoration, with my old friend, Pastor Louis Johnson. We witnessed the miracle of this prophecy first hand.

"And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive." Jer. 29:14.

Daniel's Prophecy Of The End Times...  rapid transportation, exponential knowledge, a time of trouble, Christians delivered, resurrection and rapture, the prophecy sealed to the end times.

"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: (Jesus quotes those words in Matt.24 below) and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Dan.12:1-4.

Jesus Unsealed And Opened Daniel's Prophecy
In Matthew 24
And as (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him .... saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then the sorrows increase unto the end.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Jesus quoting Daniel's prophecy).
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (The generation in which these things happen).
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of ma n cometh.
People's hearts and health will be affected by fear ...
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth" Luke 2:26.

The Apostle Paul warned of unscriptural, last days conditions and false doctrines even among Christians.
Now the Spirit speaketh ex pressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." 1 Tim. 4:1-3.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.... these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." 2 Tim. 3:1-13.
The Apostle Peter warned of lustful scoffers of the last days prophecies of Christ's return to earth...
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?" 2 Peter 3:3-4
There are many other last days, end times prophecies. I have only shared these representative ones up until the resurrection and rapture of Christ's Christians. I will cover the the events following the rapture, the Tribulation Period and Millennial Kingdom prophecies another time. RB

The Eternal Nature Of Witnessing: He Being Dead Yet Speaketh

A word may seem small but oft lives for Eternity

"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh." Heb.11:4.

Able was not a perfect man. No man is. It was not Able's goodness or merit that motivated him to offer "a more excellent sacrifice" unto God. It was his "faith"Able's "faith offering" was a "witness" of his "rightness" with God. Why did Able have "faith" to offer a "right" offering to God? He couldn't have known a blood sacrifice was required, and Cain's offering wouldn't have been rejected, unless God had made it known to both of them what was acceptable.
Obviously, both Cain and Able had heard God's word of his will requiring a "righteous" sacrifice. Cain was rejected because he had "heard" God's word and knew what was "righteous" but had no faith and disobeyed. Able was accepted because he had "heard" God's word, had faith in it, and obeyed it. "...faith cometh by hearing ... the word of God." Rom.10:17.

So we see, in Heb.11:4, that Able's faith to do right by his obedience to God, was his "witness" of "rightness" ... "God testifying of his gifts", so that "he being dead yet speaketh".

Cain killed Able nearly 6000 years ago, in anger over this issue, but Able's "faith" lives on; his "witness" of obedience to God is still remembered and God's word "testifieth" of Able's obedience to this day. "He being dead yet speaketh" after 6000 years.
_______________________________

As God the Father told Cain and Able of the essential nature of obedience, Jesus told us, his disciples, his church, the "right" we must obey and bear witness of.

"And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15. Every Christian has a commission, an obligation to be right with God by offering the more excellent sacrifice of witnessing Jesus to the world."...ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8. Nobody is a perfect witness, but every Christian can bear witness of what God has done for them, how they were forgiven and saved and of their love for Christ. The grammar, style or impressive oratory are not what God blesses. He blesses the sincerity and truth and willingness to obey. It is not your ability but your availability which God uses.

My Great Grandmother's Witness
My Christian life, ministry and roots date back to my great grandmother, who was an uneducated, plain, farmer's wife, in a flowery, flour sack dress, her hair pulled back in a bun, who smelled like biscuits. She could wring a chicken's neck and have dinner ready from the time she saw you turn in down the hill at the mail box to the time you knocked on the screen door. And she did it a million times for all her descendants. Few people moved away from their home county in the Great Depression, Dustbowl days of the 1930's, and the Jones clan consisted of about 50 relatives around Sweetwater, Texas. Mostly farmers.

One of my earliest memories was of Grandmother Jones, after a Sunday dinner, while the younger women cleaned up the kitchen, men talked farming and the big kids chased the chickens and calves. My Great Grandmother went out and sat in her rocking chair on the old wooden front porch. She had her worn out bible in her lap and had all the little kids line up across the porch and take their turn standing at her knees while she laid her bony hand on each little head and prayed for us. I can still see, in my memory, that moment eighty years ago. It came my turn, and I felt I was standing before God's most important person in the world, someone who knew God better than anyone else... and her hand was on me, and she was talking to God about me. I can still hear her prayer. She was saying, "Oh Lord bless Lee and maybe, Lord, you will even make him a preacher. In Jesus name, Amen. From that moment I knew my destiny was set. I have not always done right or even well. I have often done wrong and sinned and have never been worthy of my calling, but neither have I ever been able to escape it. Was she the great spiritual giant I thought she was? No, she was a plain, unsophisticated, unglamorous, old grandmother who smelled like biscuits. But she was faithful, a witness, a true believer, and obedient to Christ...
"She being dead yet speaketh." Her prayer was short, simple and sincere. Every single one of you grandmothers can and should and must be a witness for Christ to your grandchildren. Most will never forget it and it will change their lives. "She being dead yet speaketh".

A Neighbor, Mrs. Free
At that time, my parents, two sisters and I lived on the poor side of Sweetwater in a little shot-gun house my dad built, whose living room was about 9X9 ft. with a wood burning stove in the middle. Dust about an inch or two high accumulated on the window sills and under outside doors. It got in Mother's cooking and drove her to distraction. We had a neighbor next door who was Pentecostal and dipped snuff, as many women did in those days. Few people, at that time took a bath more than once a week, on Saturday. Mrs Free took one less often than that. Don't be too smug. You wouldn't have either is you had to bathe in a washtub about 24-32 inches across and 12 inches deep with 8 or 10 gallons of cool to cold water and little or no heat in the room. We had lye soap or Lava, which felt like lava. It took a lot of hard work and was a mess to clean up. Anyway, Mrs Free witnessed to my older sister Betty about the return of Christ and told her she had better accept Jesus as her Savior. It was that witness which so impressed my sister that she began to seek the Lord and pretend to read the Bible to me. We were both saved before teen age partially due to Mrs. Free's witness to my sister. If her little witness had such an effect on Betty, who has been teaching Sunday School, mostly adult classes, for over 60 years and still does at 88, don't you think you might qualify to witness to your neighbors? Especially the little children? You don't have to avoid bathing, be in poverty, and dip snuff to be an effective witness like Mrs Free. She made the most of her feeble little voice... but ..."She being dead yet speaketh."

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence." 1 Cor.26-29.

Our Angelic Cousin, Onita
We had a cousin, Onita, whose Christian roots also reached back to our Great Grandmother Jones. Onita was saved early in life and surrendered her life to be a missionary. She was 11 or 12 years older than us and was attending the same Seminary I later graduated from. When she came home during holidays, she invariably gathered up us kids and taught us from her bible. Onita was an angel to us, beautiful, clean, loving and a marvelous Christian. She really attracted us to the Lord by her witness when we were 6 or 8 years old, and were not yet saved. Onita died about that time, but we kids kept her as the kind of person we would like to be. I still have a strong love for her. Though she died young, "She being dead yet speaketh". Surely you have some cousins too who either do not know Jesus or know him less well than you. Will you be their Onita and take the time to pull them aside and tell them what Jesus has done for you and ask them to accept him as their Savior ... as my cousin did for Betty and me? You can be an "Onita" to them.

Precious Mrs Buck's Consistancy
During WW2 we moved to a larger and nicer house. Mother was a beautician and Dad was building a airfield in Panama to protect the canal. A very sophisticated, nice lady lived next door who took us kids to church every Sunday morning and wasn't easily put off. We knew she would not fail to be at the door to get us so we felt compelled to be ready. Frankly, I wanted to stay home and play. Many years passed and I was pastoring the church my wife Betty, I and our children founded in Florida. It had grown into a large church and we had founded and ran three Christian Schools K-12, the downtown rescue mission, the city Food Bank, a children's home, a TV station. and our own mission station in Mexico. I flew back to Texas to attend a Jones family reunion in Sweetwater. While there, I went by to see if Mrs Buck was still living. I walked up to the door of her home and knocked. I was surprised when she opened the door. She still looked well. I introduced myself but she couldn't remember me. I told her I was an 11 year old boy who lived next door and that she took us kids to Sunday School. She said, lots of children lived there that I took to Sunday School. Then I told her, "I was the one who thought he could fly and jumped off the barn flapping my arms." "Oh, you are that little boy?" Mrs Buck stood silent a moment, teared up and said, "Oh, thank you Son for coming back to see me. You are the only one who ever has." Then I teared up and she rejoiced as she looked through our brochure of ministries of which she had a big part ... but didn't know it till then. She's gone now ... but "She being dead yet speaketh." Everybody has children living near them. You may not realize the importance of ministering to them for Jesus. You may not think you have the words or the ability or the time, but you could be a Mrs. Buck in their lives and make an eternity of difference. If you will ... one day some man or woman may stop by to see you again when you most need it, and thank you for helping them know Jesus. That may be the most important thing you will ever do.

Our Uncle Henry Blair
I had an Uncle Henry who was a machinist and loved God's word and especially prophecy. He and Aunt Lorena were always in church. When our family moved again, in WW2 , to near North American Aircraft Plant in Grand Prairie, west of Dallas. Uncle Henry was there waiting for us and insisted that we go with his family to First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. On Saturday, when I was twelve, he took me to the back yard and spent an hour telling me what the Bible said about salvation, end times prophecy and the second coming of Christ. I had had a run-in with the police that week, which neither he nor my parents knew about. That Sunday, he picked us up and took us to hear the evangelist preaching a Revival there. I don't remember the evangelist's or pastor's names or what was preached, but I remembered what Uncle Henry had told me the day before and I went to the altar that Sunday and accepted Christ as my Savior before I got there. No one said anything to me but to put my name on a card as accepting Christ and I was baptized that evening. I am eternally grateful for Uncle Henry's witness to me. "He being dead yet speaketh."

My Two Sisters' Witness
We Blair kids, Alta, Tommy and I had a big sister, Betty, who was the oldest, to set the example and lead the way in serving our Lord. No siblings ever had a finer Christian Sister than we. Betty has been teaching a Sunday School Class for over 6o years and still loving it at 88. Alta went to be with the Lord a few years ago, and went off to meet him in perfect peace. She had the same roots as we. Her Christian husband died before her and she left three Christian daughters. We were blessed to have Betty, always conscious of the Lord's presence, and always her main subject of conversation. Betty has a grandson who, when he, his brother and father moved back to Texas, after the trauma of divorce, told a group of new friends about his grandmother Betty. He said, "If they had a world-wide contest for the best grandmother, my grandma would win." Those two boys, who seemed almost beyond redemption when they first moved here, are now Christians and going to church. I had the privilege of baptizing them and their Dad in their beloved Aunt Alta's lake. Betty made a thousand percent difference, for the Lord, in their young lives, while they were here, and when they moved away, near Alta, she was there for them and loved them even closer to Jesus. "She being dead yet speaketh." Surely you have a sister, brother or nephew for whom you too can be an Onita, a Betty or an Alta.

Our Mom And Dad
Though Mom and Dad were not active in church until about the time I was saved, at twelve, but they were by far the most influential sources of who I am. They were impeccably honest, clean living, hard working, generous but frugal parents. From the time I was 12 they became committed Christians and faithful church members and tithers. I can honestly say that no child ever had a more loving mother and father than I. They were better people than I could ever be. My father was the strongest, bravest and best man I ever knew. Mother was more than an angel and adored her children. Dad was my greatest hero. If I have any good or success about me, I accredit it to them.... and God. My mothers prayers saved my life at the very hour I was entering Hell Fire Valley and the Chosin Battle, in North Korea; she was praying for me in a Wednesday night prayer meeting in Texas. "They being dead yet speaketh".

My Precious Brother's Witness
Because of Mom and Dad's Christian faithfulness in their words and actions and their years of praying for their children, my brother, Tommy in also walking in their footsteps. He and his wife Evelyn are serving the Lord in Mom and Dad's and Uncle Henry and aunt Lorena's old home church in the piney woods of East Texas where I preached my first sermon. Most of the relatives and other members in that church, all of whom had input into Tommy's life, and are buried in the old Macon Baptist Church are gone now, but ... "They being dead yet speaketh".

Family Heritage branches out in tens, hundreds and then thousands of branches. My dear wife Bettie has grown strong in the Lord on this family tree and has produced our six precious children which are now 70 grand, great grand and great great grand children. My primary prayer is that they will all be influenced by the lives and testimonies of all the above. RB

Why Is Jesus Christ Called Both "God" And The "Son" Of God?

GOD the SON IS the WORD  of GOD....

The root origin of the word "son" is "sound". Sound as in the sounding words, sonar, sonata, song and sonic boom. Notice these two parallel, O.T. and N.T. "In the beginning" verses in Gen.1:1 and John 1:1.

In the beginning God created .... And God said, Let there be.... Gen.1:1-3
God spoke (words) the world, its light, contents and life into being.

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-3 (God's Word created) "The Word was with God and the Word was God."

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14 (God's Word was made flesh) God's Word came and dwelt among us. This verse also says that God's Word was "the only begotten" ... Jesus"
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God." Heb.11:3.

God sent an angel and told Mary that she would be the human channel through whom he would come into the world, as her son, and His Son, and as the blood sacrifice for the sins of the world, in fulfillment of the the Old Testament blood sacrifices and prophecies of a coming Messiah.

"And the angel answered and said unto her (Mary), The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." Luke 1:35.

Then Jesus testified in his early ministry that he "came to call (words) sinners to repent". "When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came ... to call ... sinners to repentance." Mark 2:17. Jesus, the Word of God came to call sinners...to Him in repentance.

Jesus told the Jews....
"I and my Father are one." John 10:30

"Jesus saith  (words)unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me...." John 14:9-10.

The virgin Mary's human body produced an overy egg which was impregnated with a holy, Godly spermatogenesis, by the heavenly Father. As the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters in Genesis, that same Spirit moved upon Mary's Fallopian tube and placed a single, miraculous sperm cell in her egg, at her time of ovulation. That human egg was thus fertilized by God Himself, as Father, who created it. Mary's resulting pregnancy was both fully human and fully God. Since the Spirit of God deposited the sperm, the baby boy's Spirit was God, and since Mary's egg was of human origin, she would produce a human baby's body. The Spirit of Christ in Jesus was God and the body of Jesus was human and could therefore die for our sins that we might live... through His dying, which He could only do in a flesh and blood body.

God had thereby come into humanities presence, as a human person, in order to give that human body as a sinless sacrifice, by being "made sin", a sin offering, and as the scape goat, for the wages of our sins.

"For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, (He) who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Cor. 5:21.

The baby Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit from His mother's womb and became the first born of many brethren...."For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Rom.8:29.

Jesus Christ is both God and the Son of God. His two fold nature was Spiritual and Physical. As Christ (Messiah) His Spirit was God. As the flesh and blood Son of Mary and of God, he was Jesus (Savior) who came to die, as a blood sacrifice, on the cross, for our sins. He was God's extension of Himself from heaven into human presence, with human needs. He was the Son and Sound of God's Word to the world from creation through the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Rev.1:1-3.
And finally....
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." Phil.2:5-8.
