Believe It Or Not ... There Is Always A Way

Yes, there is always a way back, over, under, around or through every obstacle, every reversal, every crisis and even every mistake and failure. There is a way!
However painful the problem or hot the temptation, remember this promise in
1 Cor. 10:13  "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." So when the load, the trials and temptations seem too heavy or painful to bear ... throw your pride aside and your burdensome cares to our Lord "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."  1Pet.5:6-7. You are not the first to face what you face. God's people have always been tested and tried, but remember Romans 5:3 "...We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience (endurance)." Trials work for us if we accept them and deal with them and look to God to make a way.

Noah and his family lived in a wicked, wicked world upon which God warned of a global flood of destruction, but God provided a way of deliverance ... an ark. The flood came, as God said, and the entire population of the earth drowned except those in the ark who believed and accepted God's warning. They lived only because God made a way, but only one way of salvation. Gen.6 & 7.

Job's calamities were greater than he was able to endure. But there was a way which reversed his downfall and loss with healing, greater faith, friends and wealth ... When he prayed for his disloyal friends. Job. 42

Moses and the children of Israel were at an unchangeable dead end, hemmed in by Pharaoh's armies, surrounding them on three sides, and a sea on the other. But there was a way. Straight ahead, God made a way through the impossible sea ...on dry ground. Ex. 14:13-16.

The armies of Israel faced fear and certain death by the Philistine army and the Philistine giant, Goliath. But God provided a way. He sent the most unlikely deliverer ... a boy named David with a sling and 5 smooth stones. God used a mere boy to kill a ten feet tall armored giant and routed the entire army of their enemy. 1 Sam. 17.

The adulterous women was caught, condemned and about to be executed. But God provided a way. Jesus faced down her accusers, religious hypocrites who held the stones to crush her body. Only then, Jesus stepped in and told her of a way of deliverance and life. Jesus made a way for that poor sinful woman. John 8:1-12.

Saul of Tarsus (Paul) was at his wits end, blind and without friends on either side of righteousness. The Christians feared and hid from him and his compatriots would hate him, but there was a way ... through Damascus and a man named Ananias who prayed for him. Acts. 9:1-10.

God has always made a way for those who believe Him, follow him and seek His will for their lives. If you are one of those, He will make a way for you too, in your day of crisis, loss, fear, sickness and even death. Death is not the worst thing that can happen to a Christian. If you are walking with Him and it is His will to take you, that will be, second only to your moment of salvation, the best thing that every happened to you.... not the worst.

Rom. 6:9 "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him" and therefore, none over us ... we who believe on Him.  "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." Rev.20:6.

So if the worst thing that can happen to you, death, turns out to be your best day, your coronation day, your promotion into God's presence, in Heaven, to eternal life with Him, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all the born again Christians of all time... how is that bad? That being the case, all of the other troubles, problems and heartaches of life are less than death and should not be allowed, by God's grace and by our holy faith, to wreck our lives, make us sick, drive us insane or cause us to give up on God making a way out of any impossible situation. As Jesus said in  Matthew 19:26   "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."  So face those impossible, mountainous obstacles with your "mustard seed faith" and God's miracle working power, and rest in His ability to make a way for you.... But keep your Christian eyes of faith open so you don't miss God's way of salvation and deliverance... even if it is your departure from this old terminal body of flesh and a personal rapture into His presence. When you get my age ... it comes to you ... that's a bargain not a loss. God will make a way. RB

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way

He will make a way
